Mrs Rachel DIBOU, Chief Executive Officer of AS Building Group, took part in the 9th annual Mining On Top: Africa (MOTA) summit, held on 7 and 8 July 2026 in Paris. A major international event for the sector, MOTA brings together African governments, mining companies, investors and financing institutions around the continent's mining future.
Alongside the Minister of Mining Industries and Geology, Mr Urbain Fiacre OPO, Mrs DIBOU represented Congolese mining operators, illustrating the vitality of a national private sector engaged alongside the State. Discussions were framed by the edition's theme — Africa's mineral sovereignty and sustainable growth — with a focus on developing Congo's mining potential (gold, polymetals, potash) and responsible investment partnerships.
For AS Building Group and its AS Mining Exploration pole, this presence in Paris confirms a clear ambition: to connect Congolese operators with the major international mining networks and position Congo as a credible, structured mining destination open to partnerships.

The Ministry of Mining Industries and Geology has granted A.S. Building three new mining prospecting authorisations, strengthening the group's portfolio which now counts 11 official permits across 5 commodities. These permits extend the group's mining presence for the first time to the Pool and Sangha departments.
With the addition of Polymetals as a fifth commodity, AS Mining Exploration confirms its diversification strategy and national footprint, from the coastal Kouilou basin to the forested north of Sangha.
